Reintroducing Kick-Off Meetings

Green Building Hawaii is re-engaging in an old but significant initiative. The success of most, if not all, projects begin with the planning and dissemination of information to ensure all parties are moving in the same direction.

What to Expect

Green Building Hawaii has started scheduling “Kick-Off” meetings when we engage a new builder and when a new community or project begins with an existing client. Our goal is to bring everyone together to review our processes and ensure that you, the builder, the trades, and we can all work together to give everyone the best chance at success in the beginning and throughout the project. This will include a complete outline of our scheduling and communication processes along with a review of what code and programs the community is working with and trying to achieve.

Collaboration is Key

We provide training and have discussions with key trade partners, including builder representatives, framing contractors, insulation crews, HVAC installers, and anyone else affected by our work. These kick-off meetings are the perfect opportunity for collaboration, addressing questions, and ensuring everyone is on the same page from the start.
